League Cup- General Information

Every team in the Champions League, regardless of division is invited to participate in the Annual League Cup.  There is no fee to participate. 

Age Groups:  u8, u9, u10, u11, u12, u13, and u14 Boys and Girls.

Dates:  November 3rd and 4th, 2007

Cost:  There is no team entry fee to participate in the League Cup!

Performance Bond:  $200 returned immediately upon elimination.

Referee Cost:  As in league games, teams will split referee fees.

Hotels:  Out of state teams will be required to book hotels through www.soccerlodging.com.

Locations:  Lowell, MI at the Kentree Polo Grounds

Registration:  Managers are required to register no later than September 28th, 2007.  Teams are required to post a $200 performance bond in the form of a cashier's check or money order.  Bonds will be returned immediately after team is eliminated.

Awards:  Championship teams receive a team cup.  No individual awards are given.

Parking:  All cars are required to have a weekend parking pass.  The cost of the pass is $10.

Format:  Day 1: Teams are seeded and placed into groups of three.

Day 2: Winners advance to an elimination round.  Wild-card teams may be used to complete bracketing of knock-out rounds.  This format allows for a two game minimum and a maximum of five games.
