About Champions League- Game Day Facts

 

Managers are required to bring the following to every game:

  • US Club Soccer official roster with jersey numbers.

  • US Club Soccer pass cards for every player.

  • An official Champions League Game report.

  • Payment for the officials.

On-field Facts:

  • 6v6 game day rosters can be no bigger than twelve (12)

  • 8v8 game day rosters can be no bigger than fourteen (14)

  • 11v11 game day roster can be no bigger than eighteen (18)

  • u8-u12 Boys and Girls use size 4 balls all others use size 5.

Game Length:

  • u9 and u10 play 25 minute halves.

  • u11 and u12 play 30 minute halves.

  • u13 and u14 play 35 minute halves.

  • High School age plays 40 minute halves.

Substitutions:

  • Substitutions may be made from any dead ball including:

    • Free-Kicks (Direct and Indirect)

    • Corner-Kicks

    • Kick-Offs

    • Goal-Kicks

    • Drop Balls

    • Throw-Ins

  • Players from either team may substitute as long as they are recognized by the official.

  • The officials are expected to use discretion when allowing substitutes onto the field.  Factors to consider include:

    • Time Wasting

    • Advantage due to position on the field.

    • Time remaining

    • General flow of the game.
